We decided to paint the solid oak cabinets because they are still in good working order, are a timeless style, and because of the size of the project, painting was much more cost effective than replacement. The owner, Colin, was at our home just two days after I called to give us an estimate for painting our kitchen cabinets, and matching cabinets in the laundry/pantry hall and half bath just off the kitchen.
