Mr. Aminur Rahman

Mr. Aminur Rahman completed Graduation and Post-Graduation from the University of Dhaka in Development Studies. He has also completed Advance Certification Management Professionals (ACMP) and Post Graduate Diploma in HRM (PGDHRM). Mr. Rahman started his career as research assistant of Tokyo and Kyoto university for the research project ‘Impact Evaluation Survey of e-Education Project'. Later on, he joined at Center on Budget & Policy and engaged in various field-based research projects funded by Asia Foundation, Action Aid, etc. In 2016, he joined BacBon Limited as Research Associate and later on got promoted to as research Coordinator in 2018 (Still he is carrying this responsibility as additional job). He has directed and managed a variety of projects at BacBon Limited funded by JICA Bangladesh Office, CASIO Japan, Panasonic Japan, and Hitotsubashi University etc. He was Sr. researcher of JICA Bangladesh office for several projects such as ‘Survey on Local Companies in Bangladesh and their needs for further potential collaboration with Japanese Companies' ‘Survey on Case Study of BOP Business in Bangladesh' in 2017-18, ICT Human Resource Development Project (2017), Under PADECO, and conducted a Study on IT/CSE students regarding ITEE in 2015. Mr. Imran Hossain Bhuiyan

Mr. Imran Hossain Bhuiyan is a Lecturer at the Department of Development Studies, University of Dhaka (DU). Before joining in the academia, he has served ‘South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM)' for about 2 years as ‘Research Analyst' and focused his research broadly on sectors like education, women entrepreneurship, leather sector development, and green growth. Besides his promising academic and research career, he also serves non-profit development organizations as part of his social commitment. Since early 2014, he has been serving as an active member of the ‘BacBon Foundation' in order to promote social development in marginal communities through education, entrepreneurship, and extensive use of ICT.

Zimran Khan

Zimran Khan is a Mid-Career MPA candidate, Equity Fellow, and Edward S. Mason Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School. He is a Bangladeshi development professional, innovator, and social activist, with 10 years of experience, specializing in development finance, digital transformation, and social innovation. Before Harvard, Zimran served at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as Head of Exploration. At UNDP, he led a team exploring how emerging technologies, non-traditional data, and grassroots innovation, can be harnessed to catalyze impact within the context of inequality, the 4th industrial revolution, and new forms of governance. Zimran has spent the last decade working at the nexus between innovation and development - first as a business developer for a Telecommunications Operator and a U.S. Federal Government Contractor, and further on in his career as an Analyst at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), administering a multi-billion-dollar portfolio advancing social and economic prosperity in Bangladesh. Zimran is passionate about financial inclusion, access to quality education, digital economy, and inclusion for marginalized communities. His work has spanned from extending emergency assistance to Rohingya refugees to delivering crisis response programs at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. He has held leadership roles at the UNLEASH Innovation Lab, the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT), and the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF). Zimran holds a Bachelor's in Engineering from the American International University- Bangladesh, an Executive MBA from the University of Dhaka, a Master's in International Development from the University of Edinburgh, and a CAS in Public Governance and Administration from ETH Zürich.
