Aba Akanni has worked with individuals on the autism spectrum and intellectual disabilities for over education for 16 years. She received her B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland, College Park. She received her Masters in Education from the University of Bowie with a specialization in Reading and Literacy. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Leadership and Administration from Trinity University, Washington D.C. Mrs. Akanni is a certified special educator, general educator, and reading specialist. She has worked in the general education classroom with grades 1 through 8 and as a special educator to students in grades 2 through 5. Her current position as a Special Education Chair has allowed her to serve students across all grade levels, parents and other educational stakeholders. In addition to her role as a department chairperson, she is an Adjunct Professor for students enrolled in the undergraduate School of Education program in the University of Bowie, Maryland. Mrs. Akanni has extensive experience working in the special education community as a consultant, educator, mentor, and parent advocate.

Mrs. Boyede Adebanjo is a graduate of the University of Hull where she attained a BSc in Economics and Accounting, She got an MBA from the University of Manchester and is a member of the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria). She has over the years gained experience in Finance and Strategy in several Financial Institution including Bank of New York, HSBC, Greenwich Trust Limited and most recently Coronation Merchant Bank Group where she was MD/CE of Coronation Trustees Limited. She is passionate about putting structures in place and ensuring full adoption and guiding businesses to achieve and surpass set goals and strategies.

Mrs. Viola Adereti has a degree in Bsc. in Biochemistry from the University of Ibadan. She has over 30 years of teaching experience and has been a member of the Beehive Team since 1990. She was formerly the Head of Administration before her promotion to Headmistress in January 2017. She has undertaken several courses and international school visitations in order to improve herself and the school.

Ms. Latifat Barbara Dosunmu is the founder of Beehive School. She was born in 1950, she completed her Primary and Secondary School education in the UK and returned home to Lagos where she attained a BSc. in Science Education and Zoology from the University of Lagos in 1978. She later attended the University of Warwick, the UK where she attained an MSc. in Science Education in 1985. She is a seasoned educator with over 40 years of teaching experience, she taught in other schools such as Holy Child Secondary School prior to setting up Beehive School in 1986. She is passionate about education and has since taken up several short courses and participated in several international education related seminars in order to continuously improve herself, the school and her pupils She retired from active teaching and school administration in 2016 but in the capacity of chairman of the Board of Directors/School Governors still impacts her wisdom and experience to the body of the school.
