BLACK SHAG OUTDOORS

Black Shag Outdoors is a manufacturer of outdoor products. The instigator and owner of the parent company is Greg Frater, a New Zealand angler, fisherman and manufacturer. The initial products are wooden fishing lures: stickbaits and poppers for predatory pelagic saltwater fish such as kingfish and giant trevally, diving wobblers for tropical predators like barramundi and reef-fish like coral trout. Another product is a smaller hardbait for trout, salmon and freshwater predators (e.g. bass and pike).
