Fernanda Alem

Fernanda Alem is the founder of Brain U Coaching, a São Paulo-based company, and also manages her bilingual Brain U Coaching Youtube Channel. With more than 20 years of an international dedicated career, licensed in Brazil as a Lawyer, and in Washington, D.C. as Special Legal Consultant (D.C. Bar), she holds her Coaching license from the Integrated Coaching Institute (ICI/ICF, Brazil-USA), and a Certified Mental Coach from Mental Training Inc., USA. Fernanda is a member of the International Coach Federation - ICF, South Florida Chapter, and she deepened into leadership training, cross-cultural high performance communication and soft skills for corporate and individual clients around the world, focusing on having her clients achieve their goals, mindset shift, emotional intelligence and social-cultural skills. Her work today is carried out mostly online (and in person, her schedule permitting), via individual and/or corporate meetings in coaching and mentoring programs, interactive workshops, the bio-leadership and smart mindset program, as well as via international collaborative webinars. Fernanda has various publications in Brazil and abroad. It's a pleasure to have you here. I am Fernanda Alem, founder of Brain U Coaching. With 25 years of international career, licensed in Brazil as a Lawyer and in Washington, D.C. as Special Legal Consultant (D.C. Bar), I am a Legal Business Executive who deepened into leadership, systems thinking, mental skills, cross-cultural high performance communication and soft skills training for corporate and individual clients.

João Miguel Cotrim

João Miguel Cotrim is a representative Mentor - European Union, for the Bio-Leadership Program with Brain U Coaching, and a researcher enrolled in a PhD in Management, major in HR & OB at ISCTE Business School, Lisbon. As a one-off project, he was Director of HR at ALCR Business Group. He was a Fellow Lecturer of Team Management - granted with an ISCTE Internal Grant; he was a Visiting Professor and Speaker at Schools of Executive Education in São Paulo (Brazil), Braga and Leiria (Portugal), as well as, Speaker at (i) the ICSS XIII, 13th Inter. Conf. on Social Sciences, University of Vienna, Vienna, Austria (Paper: Sharing Economy - The Establishment of Organizational Identity Overtime, Considering Identify Claims and Legitimacy Granting), (ii) the 4th Inter. Conf. on Social Sciences, Athens, Greece (Paper: Sharing Economy - Crafting Temporal Identity and Legitimacy Claims as an Emergent Category) and (iii) the 2nd OFEL Inter. Conf. on Governance, Management & Entrepreneurship, Dubrovnik, Croatia (Paper: an alternative model of leadership called "The Mastering of 5 Key Elements"). João was also a Mentor of Social Impact Projects at IES-Social Business School (powered by INSEAD), and member of the Editorial Board of IJM&P. More recently, he undertook a Traineeship at REA (Research Executive Agency) of the European Commission, which is a funding body for research and innovation, managing EU research grants.
