BRENDA S. KASPER

Brenda Kasper has exclusively practiced management-side labor and employment law for nearly twenty years. Brenda regularly advises employers of all sizes on wage and hour compliance, leaves of absence, disability accommodation, reductions in force, terminations and discipline management, employment contracts, personnel policies, and hiring issues. She also provides management and human resources training and is a frequent speaker at the SHRM national conference each year. Brenda is a former HR director so her legal advice is practical, creative and tailored to each client's needs.

Deborah J. Tibbetts

Deborah J. Tibbetts has over twenty years' experience in various aspects of labor and employment law. She has litigated cases in both federal and state court, involving all aspects of labor and employment law, including claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, failure to accommodate, unfair competition, misuse and theft of trade secrets, misclassification, wage & hour violations, defamation workplace violence, retaliation for whistleblower activity and qui tam actions. Ms. Tibbetts has also advised employers on various workplace issues, as well as prepared employment contracts, licensing agreements, employee handbooks, employment policies, and severance agreements, both as outside and in-house counsel, including a position as interim associate counsel for the University of California, San Diego. She also serves as the Executive Editor for Bender's California Labor and Employment Bulletin and is a contributor to the compliance assistance website Xpert HR. Lisa A. Frank is co-founder of Kasper & Frank LLP. Lisa advises employers on issues such as hiring, leaves of absence, disability accommodation, performance management, wage and hour compliance, reductions in force and the protection of intellectual property. She also regularly provides management and human resources training, conducts workplace investigations and is a skilled litigator. Prior to founding Kasper & Frank, Lisa served as partner at one of San Diego's leading employment law firms, in-house counsel at the world's largest independent biotechnology company and associate at a prominent international law firm.

Robert E. Morton

Robert E. Morton represents businesses, entrepreneurs and investors, professionals and skilled workers, entertainers, athletes, and families in immigration matters before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Labor, and U.S. Department of State. Robert previously headed the U.S. immigration practice of a London-based global immigration firm, practiced with corporate immigration firms in San Diego and San Francisco, and headed a boutique immigration firm in Los Angeles.
