Brothers Wood Agency is a family owned business. Brothers Matthew and Jason Wood are licensed independent insurance agents. This allows them the flexibility to talk with multiple insurance companies about your specific needs and find the right coverage for you at the right price. Brothers Wood Agency seeks to give you, your family or your business comfort and peace of mind. We work hard to get you what you need. Currently Brothers Wood Agency is able to work with customers nationwide for their commercial insurance needs and are able to work with customers in MN, SC, WI, TX, NM, and FL for their personal insurance needs. Jason Wood hit the ground running in his professional career starting as a manager at United Parcel Service while finishing up his education at the University of MN. After College he started his own photography business and worked in commercial advertising for 20 years. During that time he became a published author with a book about the bears of Kodiak Island and started an adventure business guiding clients to find and photograph Brown Bears in Kodiak, Alaska. Back in MN he started an organic farming business with his wife and became an ordained pastor leading ministry trips to help impoverished families in Honduras. Jason then moved with his family to Fort Mill, SC and worked in customer service and sales. He eventually got his insurance license and founded Brothers Wood Agency with his Brother Matthew Wood. He now heads up the South Carolina office and is able to use his unique business and ministry experience to help customers in a variety of industries. Jason can help with commercial insurance needs for customers nationwide and currently works with personal insurance needs for customers in SC, NC, TX and MN.

Matthew Wood is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse. Prior to starting Brothers Wood Agency, Matthew had at first worked as an employee for several different insurance companies. This experience helped him to realize he could not meet the needs of his customers with the products from only one insurance company. He then organized his own independent insurance agency and began working independently as an independent insurance agent. As his business grew he asked his brother Jason to join him and they founded Brothers Wood Agency. Matthew has some Spanish speaking abilities to be able to help with Spanish speaking customers. Matthew heads up the Minnesota office. Matthew can help with commercial insurance needs for customers nationwide and currently works with personal insurance needs for customers in MN, WI, NM, TX and FL. Matthew also has specialized training and experience with Life Insurance and Disability Insurance products.
