Amy Muse

Amy Muse is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. She has 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of abilities to include Autism, intellectual disabilities, and physical disabilities as a licensed teacher and childcare director, and now Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. Mental Health Services provided include working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, and intellectual disabilities. She is licensed and trained to treat individuals 7+ years old. Treatment modalities utilized include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Gestalt Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) to assist clients in making substantial differences in their own mental health working towards goals for themselves. Amy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education, adaptive curriculum, in 2012 from East Carolina University. She received her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental health Counseling in 2022 from Grand Canyon University. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (ACA).

Kizzy Petersen

Kizzy Petersen is a dually, board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. She has more than 25 years of mental health experience which includes direct care staff as a mental health technician, registered nurse and now provider. She has provided mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics in a variety of settings. She is certified to treat families across lifespan but specializes in adults. Kizzy received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2001 and Master of Science in 2015, both from Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem NC. She received her psychiatry training at Anderson University in Greenville SC in 2020. She is a member of the North Carolina Nurses Association, American Nurse Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
