BARBARA A. TODD

Barbara Todd has been employed for over 30 years working with people in different industries including military defense plants, insurance offices, and most recently as a program coordinator for Johns Hopkins University. In 2012, she began working part time for Senior Financial Advisors. During this time she received her license to sell life and health insurance. It was also during this time, that Barbara began helping out in the office of Omni Realty, Inc. providing administrative support to the broker and other agents. Opportunities presented themselves which allowed her to express her creative side. She began assisting in the design and staging of homes sold by Omni Realty. Barbara's passion of the real estate business grew as the number of homes needing staging increased. Seeing how happy sellers were when their homes sold quickly and for top dollar inspired her to do more. She wanted to become a real estate sales agent so that she could work with clients in all aspects of the buying and selling of homes. She obtained this goal in April of 2017. In the summer of 2017, Barbara, along with Michael Valencia, bought a property on Eastern Parkway. They worked to restore the property, adding design and staging to the property. The home sold within the first week of being on the market, above asking price. Barbara has thoroughly enjoyed working with clients and helping them through the process of home buying, home selling, design, and staging. Helping people realize their dream of home ownership is so rewarding to her. Barbara is certified by the National Association of Realtors as a Military Relocation Professional. In order to receive this certification, additional training was required. Working with military service members is something that is very dear to her heart. Both her son and son-in-law are in the military-one serving in the Army and the other in the Navy. She assisted her daughter-in-law with the selling of their home and purchasing a new home while her son was out-of-state for a year for training. She also assisted her daughter and son-in-law with their move from South Carolina to Virginia. So in addition, to the required course work and training to become a professional military relocation specialist , she has personal experience helping military families through the unique challenges, needs, and timetables that service members and their families face when receiving their PCS papers.

Michael Valencia, founding partner of Omni Realty, LLC, based in Baltimore, MD has represented home buyers and sellers in a wide array of real estate transactions. Michael has built a solid foundation of clients through his 30 years of business experience. Michael has a long record of successfully guiding clients with financial and investments services. After obtaining his business degree and gaining a wealth of knowledge through his employment in the financial field. He decided to venture out on his own. In 1999, he along with his business partner, formed Senior Financial Advisors, LLC located in Parkville, MD. Through the years of working with many clients with diversified financial planning needs, Michael recognized the need to assist his clients with other areas of financial planning. This led him to the field of real estate. Michael's career in real estate began in 2007 as a licensed salesperson. He soon discovered how real estate created a bridge that directly benefited his clients. This evolved into expanding his real estate business and in 2010 he obtained his brokerage licensed and opened Omni Realty, LLC. Omni Realty, LLC and its agents, under the supervision of Michael Valencia, specializes in applying multi-faceted levels of expertise.
