Carl is the managing director of Catalyst Advisory and is responsible for deal origination, project execution, and relationship development.
is a seasoned M&A/Corporate Finance professional with in-excess of 25 years of deal experience. He commenced his career PW in the UK, and has worked in Vietnam and the region since 2009. His previous roles include Head of Corporate Finance advisory for KPMG in Vietnam and Head of Corporate Finance for a leading regional bank in the Middle East.
Carl is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (FCA) and holds a BSc (Hons) Degree from the University of Manchester, UK.
Stephen is a Senior Advisor at Catalyst and is primarily involved with deal origination and relationship management.
Stephen's total experience includes 28 years in the accounting/advisory profession and a further 4 years in commercial roles. His working experience includes time spent in the UK, Vietnam, Thailand and Canada, the majority of which was in Vietnam.
During his 20+ years in Vietnam, he worked extensively in the advisory field and was involved in mergers and acquisitions ("M&A") and consulting work from 1995 onwards. In 2005 he joined PwC, the second largest professional services firm in the world with over US$40b in revenues, and set up its M&A advisory practice in Vietnam, growing this to become the largest amongst the Big 4 accounting firms employing over 100 people. He was involved in some of the largest M&A deals recorded in Vietnam during that time both as a buy side and as a sell side advisor
Huy joined our team as an intern analyst in 2019 and was subsequently appointed as a full-time M&A professional with Catalyst in 2020. Huy has worked on a range M&A deals in Vietnam with Catalyst, including industry/company research, financial modelling and deal execution support.
Huy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business with High Honors from the University of Southern California, USA.
Quoc is a Senior Advisor at Catalyst and is primarily involved with deal origination and relationship management.
Quoc has 28 years of experience in banking, finance, corporate management, and M&A in Vietnam. His experience includes positions as CFO of THACO (2009 -2017) and Business Advisor to the Chairman for Dong Phuong Group (2008 - Present).
Quoc holds a Masters Degree in International Business from Curtin University, Perth Australia, and a Post-graduate Degree in Applied Economics from Fulbright Economics Teaching Program.
