Starting my career at Wal-Mart in 1994 as a cashier, I quickly climbed the ranks entering management in 1997. My experience as in management let me to participate in vendor relations, building maintenance, and budget forecasting. In my 25 years with Wal-Mart, I was granted the opportunity to manage teams of up to 500 employees that interacted with up to 7000 customers daily. The most rewarding part of my 25 years with Wal-Mart was the ability to affect positive change within the company and for the people I managed. The following list details the projects and roles held that allowed me to have the greatest impact... My introduction to this role was on the basis of assisting Wal-Mart with environmental compliance in California. This role expanded to cover many different areas of compliance. Other duties included auditing, employee training, evaluation of audit analytics in pursuit of trends providing insight on store performance.
