Before starting Coquina Systems in 2017, Dale Miller spent 12 years at Hitachi Data Systems as Vice President of Services. As CTO, Dale leads building our services portfolio, forging partnerships and creating innovative software for our clients. Dale has over 30 years of experience with a unique mix of storage engineering, IT consulting and business management. Dale has worked in engineering roles writing UNIX device drivers and language interpreters, and also as a VP of Engineering for Legato/EMC. Working in consulting roles, Dale has also worked as Director of Consulting for Siemens/Pyramid and as a Managing Principal for VERITAS.

Ed Bauer

As Vice President of Business Development, Ed works with technology partners and the start-up community to provide innovative solutions to meet their service needs. He helps our partners expand their solution portfolio and grow new revenues with existing accounts by providing access to high-quality consulting services in a timely and creative manner. Ed is an innovative entrepreneur with 30+ years of experience delivering business growth in highly competitive markets. He's had executive leadership roles building two organizations which were acquired by EMC (Legato and Kazeon). Ed has valuable experience working with the partner community from all sides: as vendor, partner, direct sales and services.

Matthew Rye - COO

Our COO is Matthew Rye. Matthew oversees the company's operations and process improvements to ensure we're delighting our clients. He has over 35 years in progressive IT Infrastructure, technical and leadership roles. The majority of Matthew's career was spent in IT leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group. Matthew led teams in Desktop Services, Helpdesk, distributed servers, M&A Integrations, and large-scale Infrastructure Projects/Program Management. Matthew has extensive experience in IT Operations, Project/Program Management, cross-technology integration, migrations, advanced systems and processes.
