Coup Architects is a Beirut-based architecture and design firm founded in 2018 by architect Ghida Khayat and a team of architects including Ahmad Baydoun, Daniel Hannah, Hadi Nasreldine, Sandra Hajj, and Daniella Maamari... Coup Architects' team thrives in projects that demand and value experimentation, critical thinking and innovative design methodologies. Our methods of thinking, working, and designing are constantly evolving. We aim to design interior, architecture and urban environments that meet the needs of our clients and residents and respond to their socio-political and physical contexts... Our name, Coup Architects, conveys a sense of our firm's philosophy and practice. Our practice originated in compelling political circumstances as Lebanon witnessed its first parliamentary elections in 9 years this spring, one that saw substantial involvement from the Lebanese civil society.
