The mission of the CTE Society is to be the premier educational resource to those diagnosed with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). We are a nonprofit donor-supported organization dedicated to increasing awareness and support to those suffering with CTE. Our focus is on better education, treatment and support... CTE stands for "chronic traumatic encephalopathy," and is a type of degenerative brain condition that affects those who have suffered from concussions and sustained other forms of head trauma over a period of time.
