Dr. Jeff Kleinsorge

Dr. Jeff Kleinsorge is the director of the Preparatory and Community Piano Program and teaches university courses in piano pedagogy. He is an executive officer on the board of directors for both Chicago Music Teachers Association and the Illinois State Music Teachers Association. He was formerly on the faculty of the New School for Music Study, where his mentors included Louise Goss and Marvin Blickenstaff. Dr. Kleinsorge has studied with some of the most important pianists of our generation, such as Ralph Votapek, Constance Keene, John Browning, and Gary Graffman, and can trace his pedagogical pedigree-working backward from student to teacher-to Chopin, Liszt, Beethoven and Haydn.

Paige Craig

Paige Craig BA '99, MBA '14, CFRE is a creator developer and natural networker with a passion to communicate, collaborate and celebrate. She brought 10 years of diverse marketing experiences from stainless steel to talking vegetables to leadership events when she returned to serve her alma mater in 2008. During her tenure, the University has doubled its alumni population, celebrated its 150th anniversary and launched the first comprehensive strategic plan in 30 years. During the same time, Paige's role tripled to lead Annual Giving, serve a portfolio of 100 philanthropic partners and produce signature events like Maroon & Gold scholarship gala and CUCelebrates day of giving. She advances the University as leader of the Alumni Relations, University Events and External Relations teams.

Scott D. Ward

As AVP for Development, Scott plays a key role guiding philanthropic, development and strategic engagement initiatives to strengthen and advance Concordia University Chicago. Scott brings 25 years of university administration and academic advancement leadership experience with depth in interdisciplinary initiatives, academic medicine, strategic planning, capital campaigns, and working closely with university leaders, faculty, boards, and advisory councils. Scott received his PhD in Educational Policy Studies & Evaluation/Studies in Higher Education with an emphasis on studying academic - industry research collaborations and partnerships. A strong champion and advocate for Lutheran education, Scott and his wife are proud parents of three children who are or have completed pre-K through high school at LCMS schools in Missouri and Pennsylvania.
