We design and build bespoke timberframed structures, using sustainable, environmentally friendly, and locally sourced materials wherever possible. We take great pride in our craftsmanship and work closely with our clients and other building professionals so you get the best possible solution - which could be a house, an extension, a workshop, studio, barn, log cabin, or any other suitable structure... I (James) have been building timber frames and log buildings full-time since 1997. Prior to that, I worked on building conservation projects around Britain, gaining experience in construction. I have been involved in small and large projects, ranging from repairs and alterations to large engineering projects. This experience made me aware of the amounts of wasted materials involved and the environmental footprint of modern construction, which is not always matched by the longevity of the structures involved... On a more personal level, I have lived with my partner and our two children..
