Attorney Daniel J. Calhoun is an alumnus of Valparaiso University School of Law, graduating top third of his class. He is currently the youngest reigning member of the Million Dollar Advocacy Forum. The Million Dollar Advocacy Forum is one of the most prestigious groups of trial attorneys and membership is only extended to those who have won a million dollar or multi-million dollar settlement(s). There are only 5, 000 members in the country and fewer than 1% of US Lawyers are members. This achievement clearly speaks volumes as to Attorney Calhoun's great work ethic and unparalleled success. In previous years, Dan was employed by the Lake County Public Defender's Office where he established relationships with other members of the legal community and was able to gain experience and get acquainted with all of the particulars of the legal system. Upon founding Calhoun Law, Dan knew that he wanted to establish a firm that provided a fresh and new approach to law. It was his goal to set the standards high while achieving exceptional client satisfaction as well as the results that each client deserves. After years of hard work and dedication, he has achieved that goal. Attorney Calhoun is well versed in the area of Estate Planning and Probate Administration. Dan is a distinguished faculty member of the National Business Institute, sharing his wealth of knowledge with fellow attorneys. Attorney Calhoun is often referred to conduct estate planning from local attorneys, financial planners, and wealth managers. Dan grew up in Griffith, Indiana and attended Griffith High School. He now lives in Crown Point, Indiana with his beautiful wife and their son, Junior. He enjoys spending time with his family, taking annual vacations to the West Coast, and volunteering in various community events and areas of outreach.
