As the first Director of the FERC Office of Energy Projects, Dan was responsible for siting energy infrastructure, including interstate natural gas pipelines, LNG terminals and hydropower. In addition, Dan has worked at FERC as an Attorney Advisor in the Office of the General Counsel in the Energy Markets and Rehearing Groups... At SEIA Dan focused on FERC matters, including transmission, interconnection and energy storage. He was the driver of FERC Order No. 792 that reduced barriers to the interconnection of small solar generation... Dan's service as Senior Counsel of the Senate Energy Committee and as a House Natural Resources Committee Professional Staffer are the foundation of Dan's deep understanding of how the legal policy and political wheels turn in Washington D.C.
