Jonathan Driscoll is the founder and President of Driscoll Elevator Services. Jonathan believed that there was a need to provide elevator services that focused on providing excellent personal service to keep elevators safe and reliable at a cost that better reflected the actual work being done. He founded the company to do just that. He prides himself in being able to accurately identify what to replace and what to retain thereby minimizing the expense for the customer. In fact, the company motto successfully captures this belief - "Keeping Your Elevator Safe and Reliable at a Sensible Cost". Jonathan is fully engaged not only in managing the company but in showing up to personally provide services and maintain relationships with customers.
Jonathan has over 30 years of experience in the elevator services business. He has performed many roles including apprenticing for and then becoming an elevator technician, being an elevator service supervisor, and running the day to day operations of a large elevator services company. While there, he managed the schedule of over 30 elevator technicians and surveyed sites for modernizations, service contracts and repair work. He became a part owner of the company for the last six years of his participation. Most recently before founding Driscoll Elevator Services, he served as a Service and Modernization Supervisor at another elevator services company where he planned, scheduled and managed major elevator modernization projects as well as surveyed and developed approaches to solving particularly complex repair situations.
Jonathan has been a member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC) for 29 years and is licensed to work in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
