Our sister organisation, the European Society of Laboratory Animal Veterinarians, is open to any qualified veterinarian who works with laboratory animals. The European College of Laboratory Animal Medicine is one of 27 specialist colleges recognised by the European Board of Veterinary Specialisation. ECLAM was founded in 2000 and was fully recognised by EBVS in 2008... ECLAM certifies laboratory animal veterinarians by conferring the Diploma of the European College of Laboratory Animal Medicine. We are certified by the European Board of Veterinary Specialisation (EBVS) which additionally awards the title EBVS (TM) European Veterinary Specialist in Laboratory Animal Medicine to all active Diplomates... ECLAM certifies veterinarians as EBVS® Veterinary Specialists in Laboratory Animal Medicine. It is the only pan-European speciality organisation for lab animal vets.
