A subsidiary of Eramet Group, Eramet Marietta, Inc. is located in Marietta, Ohio. Currently employing over 150 people, the facility is recognized as one of the community's largest industrial employers and a vital link to the economic viability of the Mid-Ohio Valley. Founded in 1952 as the Alloys Division component of the Union Carbide industrial complex that at one time operated a multitude of facilities along Marietta's industrial corridor, the facility was sold to Elkem Metals in 1981 and finally purchased by Eramet Group in 1999.
