HAW MetOcean was founded in 2019 by Hans Fabricius Hansen as an independent consultancy business. Hans has worked for more than a decade with specification of design criteria and reliability analysis for the offshore oil & gas and wind industry. Loading from non-linear and breaking waves has been a key focus area in recent years with involvement in commercial and research projects aimed at characterizing the load statistics taking due account of the probabilistic nature of extreme waves... HAW MetOcean offers metocean consultancy for the offshore industry. A special focus is on extreme value analysis and uncertainty assessment using advanced probabilistic methods.
