INTERPERSONAL THEORY

Interpersonal Psychoanalytic Theory assumes that people can achieve insight into how, in their interactions with people, they become who they are, and how they can change patterns of living that get in their way of need fulfillment. It posits that people are born with a blueprint for growth and development (like a seedling possesses the potential for growing into a flourishing tree) that includes respect, self-fulfillment, expansion of experiences and ever widening and deepening human interactions...
