Mohammed Issifu

Mohammed holds Bsc. Agriculture Technology from University for Development Studies, Advanced Executive Certificate in Business Administration, Certificate in Agricultural Extension Methods & Tools from Center for International Agriculture Development Cooperation (CINADCO), Israel and Certificate in Communication and presentation Skills from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He has ten (10) years of extensive experience in the agricultural value chain, agribusiness, Climate smart agriculture and livelihoods sectors, of which he spent Six (6) years working on Project Management and Partnerships development. Mohammed has been involved in managing several projects including the USAID Farmer First Program, the Cocoa Abrabopa project, the Climate change Agriculture Food Security project as well as Agriculture Content Author and Editor for the Global Alliance for Improving Nutrition (GAIN). He possesses deep understanding in working with partner organizations and farmers in the agribusiness sector. As the marketing officer in Wienco, he led a team of 15 field officers to drive farmer-based organizations formation and training to promote the sales of input credit products and purchase of farmers produce (Cotton and Maize). In the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, He was solely working on the national Mass cocoa program in the Ellembelle district in the Western region. As the Manager, Strategic Partnerships & Content for Tulaa Access Ltd, he led the business development and sales agenda of the company. Mohammed is a project management professional, partnerships developer, trainer and conversant with project and Agribusiness development. He has been engaged in livelihood strategies and vulnerability management at the bottom of the pyramid for the past six years. He joined Intercontinental Group Ghana Ltd in 2019 and has since achieved and taken the company on major milestones.

Nash Sulemana - Managing Director

Nash Sulemana started his career in the commodity sector where he purchased cashew, shea nut and soya bean for exportation and local distribution. He has over 40 years' experience in Ghana's agricultural sector. In the early 1990s, He solely went into the purchasing, stockpiling, distribution and retail of general foodstuff particularly grains such as rice and maize. He later moved into the purchase of Shea Nuts after it was formally registered. He subsequently set up Intercontinental group Ghana limited in 2008 which is into the distribution of fertilizer in the then three Northern regions made up of Northern Region, Upper East Region and Upper West Region. Today the company is a household name in the Fertilizer distribution value chain as well as a seed and fertilizer importer. Intercontinental is now a major Stakeholder under the current Government flagship programme ‘Planting for Food and Jobs Campaign. He currently sits on both the board of the global Shea alliance and the Soya Bean Growers Association, while managing Intercontinental Group Ghana limited.
