Chelsea Carruthers was born and raised in upstate New York. For her undergraduate degree, she attended the University of Vermont where she earned her bachelor's degree in biology. She then moved to sunny south Florida, where she attended Nova Southeastern University to obtain her master's degree in physician assistant studies. She remained in Florida and began working in neurosurgery at Cleveland Clinic- Weston. She worked in the inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings - where she grew to love the specialty and patient care. Adair Prall, MD, who serves as Director of Neurotrauma at Littleton Adventist Hospital, is a board-certified neurosurgeon known around the country as an expert in vascular compression syndromes, including trigeminal neuralgia, a rare disorder that causes excruciating facial pain. He offers patients comprehensive treatment options for trigeminal neuralgia not controlled by medication, including stereotactic radiosurgery. Meet Katie

Katie Kalamula was born and raised in Lone Tree, Colorado. She earned her bachelor's degree in Integrative Physiology with a certificate in Neuroscience from University of Colorado at Boulder. After college, she spent two years working as a clinical assistant in the pediatric ICU at Children's Hospital where she realized her passion for acute care and surgical medicine. Katie received her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University in Christiana, Delaware. She graduated with distinction and is a member of Pi Alpha - The National Honor Society. After returning from the east coast, Katie worked in interventional pain management for one year gaining experience in the comprehensive management of patients with spine disorders. In her free time, she enjoys fitness classes, being outdoors and spending time with her dogs and family.

Meet Nick

Nick Agvent completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Hartford and his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Stony Brook School of Health Technology and Management. Nick is originally from Connecticut. He assists Dr. Lloyd Mobley in the Lone Tree clinic and assists him in surgery at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital. When he's not assisting in the practice of orthopedic surgery, Nick enjoys both playing and watching various sports, including baseball, basketball and football.

Meet Tess

Tess O'Brien grew up in Madison, Wisc., as the youngest of four. She attended Marquette University for her undergraduate Biomedical Sciences degree and her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree. She graduated in 2017 and soon began working with a busy independent neurosurgery practice in Milwaukee. She worked in both the inpatient and outpatient setting and grew to love being in the operating room, as well as following a patient's care from start to finish. She has regularly visited Colorado and finally made the move from the Midwest to enjoy the sunshine, mountains and all that Colorado has to offer.
