I am Kathryn the Younger, a jewelry designer dedicated to crafting pieces for the aesthete in all of us. Combining visual references and professional knowledge from architecture with methods from furniture making, I design genderless jewelry for anyone who appreciates modernity and minimalism... Rendered in recycled precious metals, my pieces are created in limited editions and seek to nurture and inspire connections between lovers, families, and friends. Originally trained as an architect like my father, I worked on and off in that field for 14 years, taking the occasional break to throw pottery, again like my father, and to build furniture at BDDW's Philadelphia workshop. In 2016, after years of being disillusioned with the architectural profession, I decided to take the leap and return to school, this time abroad.
