King fins are made from epoxy/carbon/glass fibre in two-piece moulds. We use autoclaves with programmed pressure-temperature-time cycles. Our advantage is that with the autoclave we can make fins without variability - two fins feel exactly the same in the water... King fins are handmade composite fins designed for slalom windsurfing. Since 2012, we have constantly improved the shape of the fins with the aim of making them fast in all conditions. Today we offer autoclave quality and race-ready fins that you can sail with confidence... The surface, the trailing edge and the leading edge are ground with SiC grinders up to 1200 grit. This treatment gives a smooth surface for laminar flow. A clean and degreased surface of the fin is important for optimal performance without spin-outs. Each fin is checked for quality before delivery to the customer. The boxes are adapted to tuttle and deep tuttle boxes for most boards.
