KISSAN GUDAM

To solve this challenge we launched Kisaan Gudam where farmers can bring in their produce to be stored using hermetic cocoons. Using hermetic technology-induced products allows us to use an organic way of storing commodities, that is, carbon dioxide flushing and retaining optimal moisture levels inside bags. Through retention of carbon dioxide and moisture levels, insect infestation and mold accumulation are taken care of. The farmers who store their produce with us are also given access to 70% of the cost of the commodity. This process allowed farmers to access cash at harvest times without having to sell their produce in a rush.
