The historic building located at 226 S. Bridge St. in the heart of Downtown Yorkville has served many different purposes since it was erected in 1868 including Yorkville's first High School. Over the years several other business operated within the structure until the building was acquired in 1981 by Dallas Ingemunson, the longtime Kendall County State's Attorney. Dallas, a lifelong Kendall County resident, transformed the building into his private law practice... Over the course of three decades Dallas, along with his other law practitioners, helped hundreds of local citizens bring closure to numerous types of legal difficulties. Recently, Dallas' two sons, Gregg and Boyd, joined him in the practice and still work side by side today. In the fall of 2013, due to major road construction, Dallas and his sons relocated their practice to another commercial space in close proximity to the Kendall County Courthouse.
