LAZY SUSAN BYPINCH
Updated 40 days ago
A lazy Susan is a turntable placed on a table or counter-top to aid in distributing food. Lazy Susan may be made from a variety of materials but are usually glass, wood, or plastic. They are circular and placed in the center of a table to share dishes easily among diners. The earliest forms I know of are from the 1720s and 1730s England. Many were pedestal tables with rotating tops used for wine and tea tasting.
