LIFEBIRDS

Established in 1988 the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds with its 1,400 subscribing members it is the largest national charity. It strives to encourage, influence and assist people to conserve the integrity and diversity of the wonderful world of birds, advocating at all levels of society for the equitable and ecologically sustainable use of natural resources for the well-being of mankind. Our vision is of a world where humans recognize the equal right of existence, a world where use of natural resources is inseparably tied to taking measures to ensure their natural recovery, a world where human communities have equal rights to the use of natural resources and to the services provided by nature...
