Ian Woolley

Ian Woolley is a highly competent, communication and experienced investigations manager with an extensive background in a wide range of claims, and crime. As an accomplished law enforcement officer, Ian has also obtained (and achieved) a high level of advanced investigation and interviewing experience which has provided very good grounding for motor vehicle crash and general insurance investigations. Ian's investigation experience has been honed through his many years with LKA focussing on the areas of CTP and Workers Compensation. His academic and practical background in engineering supports delivery on complex highly technical matters as well as supporting effective communication with trade & expert witnesses and other parties. Ian has outstanding communication and relationship skills, and he has a proven ability to lead people and investigations with care, integrity and top quality service. In particular, his long term investment in, relationships with and development of our Western Australian investigators has resulted in a strong team of highly skilled operators dedicated to working together with LKA in accordance with our values and expectations. Ian commenced with LKA Group in 2009 and provides leadership in customer service, investigation strategy and business development to our team in Western Australia. Ian Woolley has over 20 years experience in investigation. He commenced his career as an aerospace engineer in the UK before moving into law enforcement where he worked in both the UK and WA. Ian has over 8 years experience working in the insurance investigation field and his experience includes Compulsory Third Party (including advanced investigation and interviewing training in motor vehicle crash investigations), general insurance (including specialist skills in stress claims), public liability and personal injuries claims. Ian commenced with LKA Group in 2014 and is now an integral part of our management team.

Vince Scopelliti, a lawyer with more than 27 years' experience working within and managing investigations across all aspects of the public sector. Vince is also a respected leader in the delivery of workplace misconduct investigations and training nationally, and has completed hundreds of investigations for a range of government panels across the public sector. Vincent has developed practical expertise in the rules of evidence, procedural fairness and the impact of employment and antidiscrimination legislation and policies on workplace investigations. Vincent combines this expertise with his specialist investigative skills, to provide services aimed at helping clients investigate workplace matters efficiently, expeditiously and fairly. Vince obtained his Law and Psychology Degrees at Monash University in 1984. He initially worked as a Lawyer for five years where he gained general experience in all areas of law and later specialised in insurance litigation and criminal law. As the founding partner of the LKA Group, he has been instrumental in creating one of Australia's most respected and professional investigative services firms. Vince is responsible for the continued growth and leadership and coaching of the internal team and over 180 field operators.
