I have had a life long association with pottery. My mother, having worked for Robert Tarling in Kersey Pottery, Suffolk, for many years, creating wood ash glazes, pugging clay and selling pots, inspired me. As a teenager, I then sold pots for Fred Bramham and Dorothy Gorst who then took on Kersey Pottery. I love collecting stoneware, arts and crafts... I ooze creativity. I have been a plantswoman and garden designer for many years and when we opened the Lucy Redman Garden, Nr Bury St Edmunds Suffolk, where unusual plants blended with quirky sculptures and creations. We were delighted to welcome Beth Chatto (my inspiration) and coaches of visitors from as far away as Japan and Australia. It has also been featured in the English Garden, Homes And Gardens and The Telegraph. On closing the garden, I took up art, including pottery. I have a wheel in the potting shed in our garden and I also use a studio run by Sandy Larkman at Edwardstone. I am a member of Thaxted Potters and East Anglian..
