Monica began her career as a payroll and client accountant with Mark Hooker in 2007. Monica has continued to grow and develop her accounting skills with Hooker, Walsh & Associates and is the resident "Payroll Guru". Monica earned an associate's degree in Accounting from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in 2007. Monica is currently expanding her knowledge to become a tax preparation specialist. Monica enjoys spending time with her children.

Tela received her BS degree in Accounting from the University of South Alabama. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in both Mississippi and Alabama. She assists with tax preparation for Hooker, Walsh & Associates and also provides CFO support for Management Resource Group, LLC. She is a member of the AICPA, the Mississippi and Alabama Society of CPAs, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chapter of CPAs, and HFMA. Tela enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and also enjoys doing recreational activities.
