Mr. Vusi Mboweni has an LLB degree from University of Venda. He was admitted as an attorney in 2012 and has a right of appearance in the High Court. Mr. Mboweni is the Founding Director and Partner of the firm, and the firm was founded in 2012.
He was appointed as board member of 2 hospitals in Mpumalanga in 2017 for 3 years, namely; Themba Hospital ( vice-chairperson of the board) and Tonga Hospital (Chairperson of the board). Through this, he has acquired vast expertise in the operation of government and provincial departments.
He has contributed to the decrease in litigation against the provincial department of health, by assisting in implementing measures to avoid litigation and professional negligence claims against the hospitals.
Mr. Mboweni and the firm are registered Debt Collectors with The Council for Debt Collectors of South Africa under certificate numbers: 0113196/18 and 0113195/18 respectively.
Mrs. Vicky Mboweni has an LLB degree from the University of Zululand. She attended PLT at University of KwaZulu -Natal at Howard college. She was admitted as an attorney in 2011 and has a right of appearance in the High Court.
She was a Board member at The River View primary school in Mpumalanga where she served the board for a year. She also established the Mboweni Charity Organization where they deal mostly with assisting disadvantaged community members.
Mrs. Mboweni has a Certificate in Competition Law by University of Pretoria dealing with inter mergers and acquisitions, cartels, antitrust and pricing. She also has a Certificate in Commercial Contracts, Commercial Drafting and Engineering and Construction Contracts. She also has a Certificate in The Law and Economics of Mergers and Acquisition with The London School of Economics and Political Science. She further has a Certificate in Tax Law by University of Cape Town, Mining Law by Wits University and Business Rescue by Unisa.
Mrs. Mboweni worked for NPA as a Public Prosecutor for a period of 8 years where she gained vast experience in Criminal Litigation, Criminal Investigation, Sexual Offences, Immigration Law, Commercial Crimes, Organized Crimes as well forensic investigations. She Joined the Firm in 2018 and in 2020 she became Co-Director and was also appointed as the managing director of the company. She is currently the lead attorney in Tax Law, Mining Law, Business Rescue and Competition Law.
