Michael is a Certified Financial Planner™ and, as such, holds himself to the highest fiduciary standard within the industry. As a fiduciary, the interests of his clients are always put first. Michael's main focuses are in retirement income and financial planning, and estate planning and holds his Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses. Michael is also licensed to assist with Life and Health Insurance, as well as Annuity contracts. A native of Tennessee, Michael and his family moved to Punta Gorda in 1998 where they quickly put down roots and became part of the community they love. An alum of Florida Gulf Coast University, Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance. Michael enjoys connecting with his clients as he listens to their stories and finds that his success is mirrored in their success. He understands that each person is unique and comes from different walks of life, and therefore, each financial plan needs to reflect that. Michael enjoys woodworking and finds the process, from start to finish, a fantastic journey. He has observed that the process is very similar in creating a financial plan; you must gather your materials, analyze and develop a plan, then execute that plan. As an active member within his community, both Michael and his wife believe in contributing time and resources to several local foundations. He is a current member of the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce as well as the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce. Michael is also a graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class of 2020.
