Andrew Bruce

Mr. Bruce joined McBryde Franco, PLLC in 2022 and currently represents multiple commercial property owners across Texas with respect to business personal property and real estate tax litigation. While serving in the United States Marines, Andrew earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Houston, Downtown. Thereafter, Andrew earned his J.D. from South Texas College of Law, Houston. After passing the Texas Bar Exam, Andrew began his practice at a boutique business litigation and transactional law firm where he represented clients in complex corporate conflicts, contract disputes, and real estate disputes. In addition, Andrew served as outside general counsel and as an Attorney Ad Litem in Ad Valorem Tax litigation. Last, Andrew represented Veterans in Disability Compensation Appeals to the Department of Veteran Affairs. When Andrew is not practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, and seeks ways to give back to his community.

Charles Galindo

Mr. Galindo joined the McBryde Firm in 2017 and devotes his practice to representing property owners in property tax litigation. Charles has successfully represented owners of business personal property, hotels, office buildings and retail centers throughout Texas. Charles received his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. Prior to joining the firm, Charles worked as an Assistant Attorney General at the Texas Attorney General's Office and as a discovery specialist for federal clients at Deloitte.

Gavin McBryde - CEO

Gavin McBryde is a Managing Partner of McBryde Franco, PLLC and leader of the property tax litigation team. Gavin represents owners of commercial and business personal property throughout the state of Texas with a focus on energy, oil & gas, high end mixed use, office, hotel, and retail developments. Gavin received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth where he served as the Student Bar Association President and Board Member to the Trial Advocacy Board. Gavin has devoted his entire legal practice to property tax litigation since 2007, is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and served as in-house counsel to the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals from 2013-2022.

Jay Shroff

Jay Shroff is a licensed attorney in the State of Texas. Jay specializes in real property appeals, protest hearings, and manages the litigation and arbitration processes. Jay graduated from Southwestern University where he majored in Business while also a member of the University's renowned tennis team. Jay went on to attend South Texas College of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor degree in 2010. Mr. Shroff is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. In his leisure time, Jay enjoys exploring new restaurants in the greater Houston area and spending quality time with his wife and daughter.

Kelly Fike

Kelly has extensive experience in the Accounting and Finance field in both public and private accounting. She utilizes her Accounting background in analyzing data, CAM reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. She also works diligently to ensure the processes and procedures at McBryde Franco are efficient and effective. Kelly graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 2000 where she majored in Accounting; she earned her MBA from Sam Houston State University in 2008.

Pablo "Paul" Franco - CEO

Pablo Franco, JD, MBA serves as a Managing Partner and leads the property tax litigation team. Pablo has over 18 years of experience in representing property owners in the management, preparation, presentation, and negotiation of complex commercial asset and business personal property tax disputes. His client's assets are wide ranging and include commercial shopping centers, industrial centers, complex mixed-use developments, free standing retail, fast food, commercial real estate assets, business personal property, multi-family residential, and office. Pablo is the President of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals (TAPTP) and is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT). Pablo sits on the board of Heroes for Children, an emergency financial and social assistance program for Texas families who have children fighting cancer. He is also a supporter of the Yellowstone Schools of Houston. Pablo is actively involved at the Texas State legislature where he advocates on behalf of property taxpayers. He received his bachelor's degree from Cal State Northridge and his MBA from the University of Houston - Victoria. Most recently, he received his JD from South Texas College of Law Houston. While in law school he was awarded the John Ensell Award in Evidence, named a Langdell Scholar, and was named to the Dean's Honor List.
