AJ Miceli - Managing Director

During his tenure at McKinsey, he co-founded and led McKinsey Talent Services which evolved their top team talent approach to take a holistic view from corporate strategy and top team design through re-org implementation to execution and operating model. He also co-founded and led an incubator for next gen talent concepts driving several innovations in capability building and further expanding the talent offering. Before joining McKinsey, AJ spent over a decade advising executives on their personal finances and compensation packages and family businesses owners on how to structure and operate for success. Prior to Modern Alena worked at a New York City-based tech-forward veterinary start-up where she was in charge of overseeing day-to-day operations as well as client experience and communication. She's passionate about technology which led her to successfully graduate from Flatiron software engineering and web development bootcamp in New York. Alena majored in English with a minor in French at the Omsk State University in Siberia, Russia. In her personal time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, yoga, and skiing.

Alex Barry

Previously, Alison founded a consulting and search firm focused on the Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement functions. In the first half of her career, Alison was a management consultant at Accenture leading operational transformation projects for clients across Consumer, Industrial and Technology companies. She began her career in various positions in PepsiCo's supply chain organization. Alison is passionate about contributing to non-profit organizations dedicated to children's needs, particularly for underserved communities. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Amiel Dixon

Previously, Anthony was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Arconic's innovative Forgings and Extrusions Business (AFE). After successfully reintegrating himself into the business, Anthony transitioned to lead a small P&L inside of AFE while also maintaining Global Marketing responsibility. As AFE grew both organically, and through mergers, Anthony was asked to lead NA Sales and key Customer Accounts along with his global marketing duties. In 2017, Anthony took the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing for AFE's entire $1.2 billion customer portfolio. Brian has spent his entire professional career in executive recruiting, focused primarily on operations, strategy, research, and knowledge management. He began his journey with Heidrick & Struggles, one of the top five global leadership advisory firms, and made a transition into research within the firm's Consumer Markets Practice. He then moved from an industry focus to a functional one, leading practice and knowledge management for Heidrick's Marketing, Sales & Strategy Officers Practice. In 2017, he was recruited to join Allegis Partners, an executive recruiting firm under the umbrella of the Allegis Group staffing conglomerate, where he rebuilt and led the research & knowledge management team and contributed to the company's evolving strategy and operations. In 2021, Brian joined SwingSearch, an executive recruiting firm focused on placing primarily go-to-market executives at venture capital-backed startups and was tasked with taking operations and technology to the next level while leading and growing the research team. Prior to joining Modern, Brian was Adobe Systems' first Chief Talent, Diversity, and Inclusion Officer. Overseeing more than 400 employees, Brian set forth multiple initiatives including: DE&I dashboards that enabled Evidence-based Decision Making, "Opportunity Velocity", that unlocked the myths of promotions, as well as a doubling down on Manager Excellence. Prior to joining Adobe, Brian was the Chief People Officer at Impossible Foods. Brian provided thought leadership and strategic direction to an organization experiencing the challenges of a triple-digit growth rate combined with the COVID-19 crisis. He spearheaded and operationalized Impossible's compensation strategy including, sales comp, exec comp, and long-term incentive approach, as well as setting the cultural anchors for success. Her portfolio included several large organizations in the healthcare, post-secondary higher education, and government industries. Cecelia received her bachelor's degree in human communication studies with a minor in Afro-ethnic studies from California State University, Fullerton. She obtained her master's in leadership and organizational studies from Azusa Pacific University. Coree Moses

Curt Gifford
