Andrew Dodds

Andrew is an experienced engineering professional who designs and coordinates the production of documents for land development projects. He has a broad range of project experience including municipal, commercial, industrial, and residential projects. He is also responsible for processing construction documents through the appropriate governmental reviewing agencies and coordination with the construction layout crew. Andrew is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio Valley Development Council, American Society of Civil Engineers, and the National Society of Professional Engineers. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys golfing, working on home projects, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Anneke Hoskins

As a drafting technician/intern in MSP's Architecture Department, Anneke provides drafting support for a wide array of architecture projects. She specializes in preservation projects, with experience documenting and designing within historic structures both professionally and academically. Her experience in drafting software including Revit and AutoCAD has helped her document buildings for the National Register for Historic Places as well as typical construction documentation work. She considers having the opportunity to work on interior exhibit renovations in the National Museum of American History for the Smithsonian to be the most exciting project she has worked on. Anneke earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a certificate in Historic Preservation at the University of Cincinnati (UC) and is currently completing a Master of Architecture degree at UC. At UC she is active in historic renovation design research projects and is currently working on a preservation reuse design for her thesis with the City of Cincinnati's Port Authority. Upon graduation in Spring 2024, she will join MSP as a full-time employee. Anneke enjoys reading, drawing, games, and spending time with her friends.

Chris Benjamin

Job Titles:

Chris attended Cincinnati State College majoring in Civil Engineering Technologies and has been with MSP since 1995, starting as one of our field members and overtime transitioning to a CADD Technician within the surveying department. His previous roles include a rodman, instrument man, and crew chief. Chris has prepared drawings for every department at MSP and has a substantial history of drafting- currently creating topographic basemaps for the engineering department to aid in building designs and construction, as well as many other types of plats for the survey department. Chris's many years of experience and training, including the use of GPS and photogrammetry, helps him Identify potential issues with projects before they arise. Outside of the office Chris enjoys getting to spend time with his family & friends, time outdoors and riding or driving anything FAST.

Daniel Arnold

Since 2003 Dan has been a valued member of the MSP team, when he joined as a field crew member in the surveying department. Over the years, he has advanced to the role of a CADD technician. In this role Dan creates design plans for residential and commercial properties. Outside of work, Dan loves spending quality time with his family. He also finds time for his hobbies, which include fishing, collecting sports cards, and hunting.

David Clark

David began his architectural career in 2000 and joined MSP in 2003. As Vice President of Architecture, David oversees the department's workload, finances and staffing while also maintaining project management duties. With his vast knowledge and expertise in architecture, he provides guidance and support to his staff as they develop their skills and capabilities. David earned a Master of Architecture degree from Boston Architectural College and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts in Architecture from Miami University. Licensed in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Maryland, David has completed projects across a wide range of markets and regions. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and previous member of Park 42 Toastmasters Club, achieving Advanced Communicator Bronze status. Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, as well as fishing, bourbon, sports and new culinary adventures.

Donovan White

Donovan White is an experienced Field Survey Crew Chief with expertise in boundary survey work, topographic mapping, ALTA surveys, and construction surveying. With many years in the field, Donovan helps his crew with efficiency, ensuring accurate data accumulation and precise layout of designs. He collaborates with project engineers to resolve discrepancies, prioritizes safety in equipment operation, and completes projects within budgeted timeframes. Donovan's approach extends to recording accurate field notes and transferring electronic data, making him a valuable asset to the Field Crew at MSP Design.

Emily Lubbers

Associate | Senior Project Manager/ BIM Coordinator/Interior Designer Emily began her career in architecture in 2011 after graduating with a Master of Architecture from University of Cincinnati. A registered architect and certified interior designer, she specializes in architectural design and BIM management. Her expertise spans across a range of markets, including federal, healthcare, retail, multi-family housing, office, and daycare. In her role as a senior project manager, Emily leads the project team in collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors to manage all aspects of a project from proposal to contract administration. Additionally, as BIM coordinator, Emily leverages her advanced skills in Autodesk Revit to provide MSP with comprehensive model management, creation of office standards, and advanced training. Emily is a member of American Institute of Architects (AIA) Cincinnati, International Interior Design Association (IIDA), and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) of Greater Cincinnati. She serves on the Young Professionals Committee for Allied Construction Industries (ACI), co-chair's the AIA Cincinnati's Academy and is part of its Vision Class of 2023. When she isn't working, Emily enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, camping and traveling with her husband and identical twin daughters.

Gretchen Hoskins

Gretchen joined MSP in 2022 as our front desk coordinator. Her main responsibilities include greeting clients, facilitating shipping, assisting the financial manager, and scheduling meetings. Meeting new people and learning new things are what she enjoys most about her job. Additionally, Gretchen is a licensed notary in the state of Ohio. When she's not at work, Gretchen enjoys reading, gardening, spending time outdoors and with her children, and going to triathlons to cheer on her husband.

Holly Schaefer

Holly started her career in the surveying industry in 2017. Holly works on a a wide range of surveying projects but mostly residential projects. Holly does a lot of the building permit drawings for residential developers. This involves creating site plans for these developers to use when applying for building permits. Additionally, Holly does CAD work for surveys, record plats, and legal descriptions for parcels to create deeds. Outside of work, Holly enjoys bird and squirrel watching and feeding, reading and sewing. Holly also leads our book club here at MSP.

Jake Rosenzweig

Jake's responsibilities include providing overall design support in landscape architecture, residential subdivision developments, cemetery design, and private landscape design. He enjoys having the opportunity to learn and grow as a designer by working on a wide range of projects. Jake is a University of Cincinnati graduate with a bachelor of urban planning degree and started in the planning field in 2019. Outside of the office, he enjoys drawing and gardening.

Jim's career in civil engineer began in 1984. He specializes in designing site improvements and utilities for a wide range of projects, including commercial, industrial, residential, and public developments and is involved in the project process from concept and feasibility through construction documents and site observation. Additionally, he has extensive experience with complex stormwater and utilities management projects and has designed a numberous major roadway and sewer projects. Jim serves as a board member for the Clermont County Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Ohio Valley Development Council (OVDC). Outside of the office, Jim enjoys cheering on his favorite local sports teams and coaching basketball.

John McKenzie

John underwent a significant career transition in 2019 when he joined MSP's Surveying Department. Within this role, John handles various responsibilities such as construction staking, topographic mapping, boundary surveys, Alta surveys, and as-built surveys. In addition to his field crew position, John serves as a firefighter and EMT for Stonelick Township. In his free time, John enjoys home brewing, model trains, hunting, and fishing.

Jordan Weber

Jordan's career in the engineering industry began in 2012. His primary responsibilities are designing and coordinating the production of construction documents for land development projects. One of Jordan's hobbies outside of work is woodworking. Additionally, he enjoys spending time outside with his family, and playing the guitar.

Jose Castrejon - President

Jose joined MSP in 1997 and assumed the role of president in 2022. He is a landscape architect, planner, and facilitator, bringing extensive experience in designing and managing projects ranging from site-specific design to comprehensive master planning. Jose's expertise spans various areas, including municipal projects, urban design, parks and recreation planning and design, athletic complex design, and sports field development. His project approach emphasizes the importance of client collaboration and effective communication. Jose is a licensed landscape architect in Ohio and Kentucky and is a certified LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Home Builders Association of Cincinnati, Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Ohio Valley Development Council (OVDC). In his free time, Jose enjoys playing soccer, volleyball, and golfing.

Kathlene Kidwell

Kathlene joined MSP in 2023 to run our interior design department. With over two decades of experience in the field of interior design, she has worked on diverse projects globally, including education, healthcare, hospitality, and corporate sectors. She brings a unique perspective to every project, embracing the design challenges that arise and devising innovative solutions. Her educational background includes an associate's degree in interior design from Virginia Marti and a bachelor's degree in interior design from the University of Cincinnati. Beyond her professional pursuits, Kathlene enjoys hiking, golfing, baking, snorkeling, riding motorcycles, gardening, and traveling. She also loves spending time with her husband and three cats.

Kelsie Petersen

Kelsie joined our team as a recent graduate from University of Cincinnati with bachelors in arts and communications. In her role, she mainly contributes to proposal and presentation development. Outside of her professional pursuits, Kelsie enjoys photographing and capturing life's moments. Madisen Kleinmann

Her passion for architecture stems from its unique fusion of mathematics, science, and art, allowing her to contribute meaningfully to both her community and the economy. Madisen joined us shortly after receiving her bachelors degree of science in architecture at the University of Cincinnati! Outside of work Madisen likes to work on her art through her preferred mediums of charcoal drawings and paintings. Beyond her creative pursuits, Madisen harbors a profound passion for contributing to the fight against homelessness. She believes everyone deserves to have a safe home they can always return to.
