Dr Claudia Cambon grew up on the Gold Coast where she studied at Griffith University. She later moved to the Sunshine Coast where she completed her studies in 2020 and stayed to work in the hospital. She is interested in all aspects of general practice in particular preventative health and skin cancer medicine.
Qualification: Doctor of Medicine
Dr Emma Green is new to the team at The Doctors Mulgrave Road, starting as a GP Registrar in July 2022.
Originally from the UK, Dr Emma completed a degree in Biology and Human Biology at Oxford Brookes University, before going on to read Medicine at the University of Southampton (graduating in December 2006).
After moving to Australia in 2008, she has spent the last 11 years working in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology (including obtaining her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG) in January 2022) and is looking forward to continuing to use her previous training to benefit her patients in the local community.
Dr Manning studied a Bachelor of Science majoring in cellular and biochemical biology at Charles Darwin University and worked as a Medical Scientist for eight years prior to moving to Adelaide to study Medicine at Flinders University.
Dr Manning has worked at the Royal Darwin Hospital and Wurli-Wurlinjang Aboriginal Health Service before coming to Cairns, where he has been a GP since 2018.
Dr. Konny is an all rounder with a special interest in skin cancer detection and treatment. She will put you at ease during checks and procedures.
Skin lesions need to be assessed prior to making an appointment for removal. Ideally patients should book for a full skin check prior to any procedure.
Born in Berlin, with a mix of Hungarian / German ethnicity, Dr Konny trained in the UK and Australia and has decades of experience in skin cancer management.
Dr Peter is new to The Doctors Mulgrave Road, joining the team in July 2022!
Dr Peter has recently moved from Townsville and his main interest is Mental health and chronic disease management.
His hobbies include weight training, gardening, and fishing.
Dr Wai Thinn has been practicing in Cairns for 4 years, after beginning her training at University of Medicine in Yangon.
Dr ow Yeang is a General Practitioner with a wide range of skills and knowledge. After more than 26 years of practice, he has not lost his passion in caring for his patients in all stages of their lives and believes in a holistic approach. Dr Ow Yeang has been living in Cairns with his family for more than 11 years and considers this beautiful tropical paradise his families home. Dr Ow Yeang also enjoys being involved in the training of medical students.
