Aneta Karaskiewicz-Cox

Aneta Karaskiewicz-Cox, M.A., LMFT has several years of mental therapy experience treating people of all ages, backgrounds, and issues in the Los Angeles area. She currently works at Naples Marriage and Family Therapy in Long Beach, CA. Aneta has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Masters' Degrees in both Psychology and Marriage Family Therapy. Three years of her undergraduate training and work included Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) where she worked with autistic children. The postgraduate part of her training consisted of working in a school setting where she provided psychotherapy for adolescents. Aneta continued to fulfill California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements for licensure at a Neuropsychology Center with a heavy emphasis on psychoanalysis, while supervised by a Jungian analyst. She uses a variety of therapeutic techniques, but naturally leans toward existentialism. "Through my work as a psychotherapist and interest in human behavior I have noticed a lack in areas of self-respect, self-appreciation, self-acceptance, self-proficiency, not feeling good enough…essentially, lack of self-love.
