Mark Hale joined Navigon in 2010. Mark has been in the financial services industry for 22 years, specializing in assisting individuals and business owners in meeting their financial objectives. Mark's industry experience has been gained through sales and management positions at Farm Bureau Insurance Company, Prudential and Allstate. This has given him the skills to develop strategic financial plans, allowing him to help meet his clients' life insurance, retirement, savings and investment objectives. Education Mark graduated from Randolph-Macon College, in Ashland, VA with a degree in Business and Economics in 1992, and he has also earned his LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) designation. Personal Mark is very active in his community and participates in various organizations throughout the Roanoke Valley. He is a member in good standing of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors), past officer and board member of RVAIFA (Roanoke Valley Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) and MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table). Mark is a member of Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church and performs outreach work through KAIROS Prison Ministry. Jim began his career in the Financial Services Industry in his early 20's. His interest and study of economics, historical trends and asset allocation has proven invaluable to his clients over the years. He has over a 30 year history of service and leadership within the Financial Services Industry. His leadership roles include, but are not limited to, past President of Greensboro Society of Financial Service Professionals, past President of the Greensboro Society of Financial Service Professionals, and past President of the Greensboro Estate Planning Council. Jim is also an approved instructor for the state of NC Insurance Department of Continuing Education. His industry peers have honored him with the Marie Moyers, CLU Distinguished Service Award and the Greensboro Association of Life Underwriters Member of the Year award. Both of which, highlight the achievement of Professionalism in the industry. Jim's clients understand that he will make recommendations and offer guidance based on their individual, family or business needs. For some, this means helping them achieve a clear vision and strategy for protecting their family and accumulating assets for the future. They feel fortunate that their grown children, Lesley, Anne Marie, Emily and Vincent live in North Carolina which allows them the opportunity to see them often. As well as serving his clients and spending time with his family, Jim has been a long term active member of his church in Greensboro. Jim has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America and was the Merit Badge instructor for "Personal Management". One of the most rewarding volunteer activities was coaching youth baseball and basketball at the Albert Spears YMCA. Nothing will light up Jim's face more than when a young person in the community seeks him out to share their successes and addresses him as "coach".
