NYSAMM's purpose is to provide a collective voice for mobility professionals and practitioners, support innovative mobility solutions and collaborations, and to work with decision-makers on mobility policy issues. Mobility providers educate communities about all available mobility options such as public transit, intercity buses, volunteer driver programs, paratransit services, other shared-ride transportation, supportive built environments, biking, trails, etc. These professionals help seniors, persons with disabilities, low-income residents and other transportation and mobility disadvantaged individuals access jobs, interviews, support services for people with disabilities, medical appointments; address basic needs, physical and emotional needs, and social engagement...
