Athanassios Staveris-Polykalas is a cybersecurity expert and digital transformation consultant with extensive experience in telecommunications, cybersecurity policy, and the application of artificial intelligence in public administration and private sector operations. As the former Secretary General of Telecommunications and Posts in Greece, he led key national projects that strengthened the country's digital infrastructure. He was responsible for the implementation of the European emergency number 112, improving the efficiency and coordination of emergency services. He also oversaw the rollout of Ultra-Fast Broadband, expanding high-speed internet access across the country. In addition, Athanassios developed national cybersecurity policies aimed at protecting critical infrastructure and aligning Greece with EU cybersecurity directives.
Charalabos Gizas, MSc., is a Telecoms and 5G Radio Engineer at p-NET. Charalabos has a diverse background and has extensive practical experience acquired through roles in both research and product development environments. Charalabos has been involved in researching novel 5G technologies for various EU-funded projects and has held key positions at organizations such as NOKIA Bell Labs NJ, USA and St. Jude Medical Neuro division in TX, USA. Charalabos holds an MSc in Radio Frequency and Communications Engineering and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Braford University, UK.
Didoe Prevedourou (F), MSc., is the Managing Director of p-NET. She is also Vice President of Innovation and Research at the CTiF Global Capsule, a global, collaborative, non-profit organization for cross-/inter-disciplinary research, education, and innovation. Didoe has extensive work experience in both academic and corporate environments. Has worked as research scientist in numerous EU and nationally funded research projects, also in the roles of project coordinator and technical manager, as well as in industrial projects, covering diverse thematic areas in ICT and innovation management. Her research interests are in ICT and its applications in healthcare-wellness, the environment, education, and culture. She holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, USA.

Dionysia Kouveli is the Administrative Assistant at p-NET, having joined the organization in early 2025. She brings extensive administrative experience, having previously worked as Head of Registries at the Metropolitan College, Patras Campus. Before that, she worked as an Administrative Officer at the Hellenic Management Association and, prior to that, at the Goethe Zentrum Patras. Dionysia holds an MSc in Banking from the Hellenic Open University and a BSc in Accounting from the Higher Technological Educational Institute of Patras.

Dr. Christos Tranoris is the Technical Manager of p-NET. He is also a Researcher at the Electrical Engineering Department of the University of Patras and has significant experience in the development of programmable infrastructures, cloud and containerized computing, software engineering and operation support systems and services. He participates in various standardization and European organizations while he is also currently the technical leader of various EU funded projects in the area of 5G and 6G research.
Konstantinos works as a Senior Security Engineer at p-NET. He is also a Research Associate at the University of Patras leading a team focused on Identity Management, Deception tools, Network Security and Hardware Security. In the past he worked as a firmware Engineer in ATMEL Hellas, and as a Research Associate at FORTH (Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas). He has organized various scientific workshops and conferences focused on Security, and has participated as a member in the INS-ISG group of ETSI, the (cg-discovery) of the Study Group 17 (SG17-security) in ITU-T and the ER-ISAC. His research interests are identity management, privacy, network security and Critical Infrastructures Protection. He holds a PhD from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras.

Marios Nicolaou, MSc, is the Business Development Director of p-NET. Marios is also a Strategic Advisor to the 5G Techritory which is one of the largest 5G Digitalization Conferences in the world. Marios started his career at Bell Labs in the USA where he worked for 18 years in various positions. His last 7 years at Bell Labs were spent in London, UK where he was the Senior Director for Wireless Consulting. Marios also served as the 5G expert at Digital Catapult in the UK and as a member of the Board of Directors at JCC Payment Systems in Cyprus. He invented various innovations which went to market with significant commercial success including the WSO (Wireless Strategy Optimizer). Marios holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of California Irvine, and an MSc in Engineering Management from the University of Southern California.

Prof. Spyros Denazis has been a faculty member since 2004 in the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department, University of Patras, Greece. Between 1996 - 2004, he worked in the telecommunications industry, for Intracom S.A and Hitachi Europe in Cambridge, UK and Sophia Antipolis, France. He currently leads an active research group, with a wide range of research activities and European research projects in the areas of 5G/6G, Experimental Testbeds (https://wiki.patras5g.eu), NFV, SDN, Smart Cities (https://sense.city & https://safeamea.gr) and Cybersecurity. He is also the Scientific Coordinator of the newly established 5G Competence Centre p-NET (https://www.p-net.gr).

She has extensive administrative experience, where she previously worked at the Hellenic Management Association, as the Regional Director of the Peloponnese and Western Greece Branch. She has been involved in developing educational programs of study, co-operating with businesses and organizations in offering training and educational programs to executives, implementing various EU projects and has been actively involved in accreditation processes. Roula holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the Business School of the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.

Spyros Batistatos joined p-NET in early 2025. He brings extensive experience in business operations management, including the software development outsourcing partnership of Intracom Telecom with Ericsson.
