Barry O'Sullivan - Managing Director

Barry O'Sullivan is Managing Director of Palo Alto Technology Partners and has over thirty years experience in the Technology industry. Prior to Palo Alto Tech, Barry founded Altocloud, a company focused on using artificial intelligence to transform customer experiences. Barry served as Altocloud's founding CEO, growing the business rapidly in the US and Europe until the company was acquired by San Francisco based Genesys Inc. in February 2018. Barry has since been appointed to the board of Genesys, and is a Senior Adviser to private equity company, Permira LLC. He spent most of his career in Silicon Valley, joining Altocloud from Cisco where he was Senior Vice President and led Cisco's Collaboration and Unified Communications businesses for over 10 years, growing revenue from $100m to over $4 billion. Barry serves on the Board of Ireland's national science foundation, Science Foundation Ireland, as well as IOT company, Asavie Technologies. A prolific technology investor, Barry is also known from the TV series Dragons' Den Connected in Silicon Valley Palo Alto Technology Partners Managing Director, Barry O'Sullivan, on stage at Stanford University with Aaron Levie, Co-founder and CEO of Box and Craig Barrett, former Chairman of Intel Corporation.

David Stafford - CFO

David Stafford is a Principal at Palo Alto Technology Partners and has extensive experience leading finance teams in the private equity, gaming and technology Industries. Most recently David was CFO of customer engagement startup, Altocloud, leading the organization in multiple fundraisings, ensuring the company was ‘diligence ready', culminating in a successful exit to Genesys Inc. Previously as CFO of software company Socrates Healthcare, David's leadership was instrumental in the company being acquired by the Clanwilliam Group with Socrates becoming a cornerstone of Clanwilliam Group's growth in healthcare technology. David serves on the board of multiple startups including Quickcrop and Allergy Lifestyle, transferring all his experiences, driving best in class practices to scale these businesses
