Dr. Bob Alexander - Founder

Bob is a world-renowned researcher, trainer, consultant, and published author with PhDs and masters degrees and over 25 years of practical experience focusing on promoting sustainable livelihoods and basic social service access and integrating biophysical and socio-economic elements of participatory risk-managed community resilience strengthening and development. In addition to his work contributing to the development of Pamodzi Social Enterprise, his work in Malawi has focused on risk communication and community engagement toward resilience strengthening decision-making and action through roles including founder and executive director of the Tikonzekere Arts Contests: Communicating Good Practices for Risk Reduction through the Arts in Malawi and member of the Malawi National Technical Working Groups for Risk Communication and Community Engagement for the COVID-19 Task Force and for Public Health and the Malawi Peace Forum.

Funghai Mutsinze

Funghai Mutsinze obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Arts Humanities from University of Malawi's Chancellor College in 2010, majoring in Theology and Religious studies and minoring in philosophy and Classics. He is currently pursuing a master's degree of Arts in Political science at Chancellor College. Funghai has vast experience in music, Radio and TV programs production and presentation. With 20 years in the music industry and 10 years in the media arena, he has received both local and international awards in both fields. He worked for seven years as presenter, executive producer and announcer at Radio Maria Malawi and from 2017-2018 as a radio programs producer and presenter at YONECO FM. Funghai currently is executive director of Cleanhearts Multimedia Investments and works as both producer and presenter at Times Radio and Television. He has vast broadcasting experience in producing and presenting interactive programmes especially those dealing with human rights and gender, democracy and good governance, politics in general, the youth and music and is also well versed in producing and presenting radio documentaries, talk shows, panel discussions and magazines. Peace Kalua - Founder

Peace did his tertiary education at Livingstonia Technical College in motor vehicle engineering. In addition to his work as an entrepreneur in South Africa and Malawi, he has conducted skills training for vulnerable youth in Malawi since 2013. After starting Pamodzi Social Enterprise in 2019, Peace initiated the development of the directors team, the members, the partnerships, and the resulting activities to help vulnerable people in selected communities by procuring items that they needed and distributing them in 2020 together with materials and messages to help reduce transmission of COVID-19 in these communities. Peace has passion and dedicated commitment for empowering vulnerable and disadvantaged youth, elderly, and disabled persons and the communities in which they live to better sustain themselves.

Tawonga Taddja Nkhonjera

Tawonga Taddja Nkhonjera is a Community Solutions practitioner, with an educational background in Public Health, Gender Studies and Ethical Leadership. He uses different art to address public health and development issues in Malawi, using film, television programs, theatre for development, music and traditional dance, and creative writing. Taddja is passionate about capacity building in youths, women empowerment and conceptualising sustainable initiatives for the well-being of society, and the conservation of the environment. He has experience in different projects in education, orphans and vulnerable children welfare, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, social entrepreneurship, gender equality and human rights protection, among many others. This experience and these passions are an asset to all three of the current initiatives of Pamodzi Social Enterprise and to its future development.

Yasmin Mbewe

Yasmin is a pharmacist with 3+ years of experience both in the private and public center where she interacts with women and children helping and guiding them remain her main passion. Yasmin helps patients and the public, assessing their conditions and making medical decisions. She has done various volunteer work with abused mothers and abandoned children. She is a new member of Pamodzi Social Enterprise having joined in 2020 and is excited to be working with people from all works of life through this organization.
