PHILIP BADU-MENSAH Is a Maritime Consultant and Chief Executive Officer of Philbmens Maritime Consultancy Services Limited. He is also an astute industry player who has worked with the industry since 1999. In 2015 faced with the need to build his capacity in the industry he enrolled to pursue FIATA Diploma in International Freight Forwarding with Ghana Institute of freight forwarders. He has also awarded with Customs Proficiency Certificate (Customs Division) and BSC Port and Shipping Administration and currently pursuing Master of Arts in Port and Shipping Administration at the Regional Maritime University Accra. Mr. Philip Badu-Mensah known in the maritime industry as PHILBMENS worked with his father's company Padlice Limited as a freight forwarder and later joined The Light Company Limited. In 2012 PHILBMENS was employed by former CCOD Mr. George Yaw Nuamah at New Era Shipping Company Limited as the Director of the company, following the award of the Proficiency Certificate he jointly acquired a License to operate as a customs house agent with Vacutech Shipping Company Limited as the director of the company He established Philbmens Maritime Consultancy Services Limited in 2020 when Customs agreed to accept one Customs Proficiency Certificate for the acquisition of Customs House Agent License.
