PHYSICIANS POINTE - Key Persons
Ashley attended undergraduate school at Georgia Southwestern and State University where she received her Bachelors in nursing. She has worked at Emory Healthcare for four year as registered nurse on a general surgery unit. She graduated from Georgia College and State University with a Masters of science in family practice. She began working at Physicians Pointe in October of 2017.
Ashley enjoys spending her free time hiking and relaxing around a bonfire with her loved ones.
Dr. Ona graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and completed a prestigious academic program at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, receiving his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree. He did his residency at the Family Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and was honored with the Rick Shuman Award of Excellence in 1994. Dr. Ona opened the doors to Physicians Pointe in June 2002 and recently established a new office in May 2012, providing a comprehensive family medicine facility for the community.
Besides practicing medicine, Dr. Ona is a car enthusiast, buying and selling "cool" cars over the years and driving them on a regular basis.
