SAND LAKE RETREAT

Our home is the only structure on Little Sand Lake and abuts 1000 acres of County Land on the south and west. Here we have been able to enjoy our favorite activities of swimming and paddling, photography, woodworking, gardening, golf, hiking, hunting and fishing, and cross country skiing and snowshoeing on our own four miles of paths. During retirement we also added volunteering and participating in the Lake Hattie Lake Association activities. Whatever your passion, you can find it here!... Since 1975 our family has been blessed to own this beautiful 230 acre property of diverse forest nestled between three bodies of water: Little Sand Lake, Lake Hattie, and the Pine River, just a three hour drive from Minneapolis/St Paul. This property includes 5,500 ft of lakeshore on Little Sand Lake, 1,400 ft of lakeshore on Lake Hattie, and 900 ft along the Pine River, a state designated canoe route, for a total of 7,800 ft of waterfront!
