IKIGAI

Is designed to utilize the world's focus on Expo 2020 as a platform to showcase the issue of female entrepreneurship particularly in the technology sector, and on the basis of the experience of leading global women tech leaders from the public, private sector, academia, and NGOs identify the broader commercial and personal factors that can lead to the establishment and development of more successful businesses by women tech entrepreneurs, more women in the Jobs of the Future, and the Post-COVID recovery in the GCC... Ikigai (生き甲斐, "a reason for being") means having a direction or purpose in life, providing a sense of fulfillment to a person, and towards which they may take actions, giving them satisfaction and a sense of meaning... The "balance" of these elements contributes to a person's happiness; all are crucial to the "reason for being". The people of Japan and the organizers of this event believe that everyone has an Ikigai.
